Have a good collection of Toys. Also have small toy train tracks which works for 1 or 2$ and its really good. The garden around is also good. Opposite to road there is Blue Mountain view point for 2$ which is fantastic.

Unlike most museums it allows you to use your own active imagination when recalling your toys rather than labelling each item in a stuffy format, it doesn't force you to follow-the-arrows-read-and-move-along, it allows you to go at your leisure and actually enjoy the items on display. It allows you to interact with your children and tell them about YOUR childhood. It was fantastic, I was showing my children the toys I had and my Mum was showing us the few toys that she had. And we talked about them with passion - not quietly reading a predetermined piece of text that you forgot all three minutes after reading.

The fantastic minature train sets and artifacts from Sydney's past and renovated rail stations are both fun and interesting.

Set in a beautiful expansive and well kept garden is an amazing building with an impressive collection of new and old toys.

I have visited Leura countless times for the spring festival but this is my first time visiting the toys and railway museum and the collections just blown my mind, when the name said railway museum I was only expecting miniature trains but not an actual train and a train station! Amazing collection of toys from all ages which show great love and care of the collectors, this place will transport you down the memory lanes regardless how old you are. Such a hidden gem of Leura, highly recommended. There is also an amazing lookout - the Olympian Rock - right across the road from the museum, one of the best views of the blue mountains in my opinion.

The entry price was excellent, $15 was that all? It worked out at £7.50 per person when we were there. To give a comparison I went to Stonehenge last week and they charge £15 per person to see some stones that I have no emotional attachment to whatsoever!

Gorgeous view, you, beautiful grounds, two coin operated Toy trains tracks. This property is privately owned and they also own the gated grounds across the road ($2 entry). Can be hired out for weddings and has plenty of parking. The toy house itself is interesting and has a large collection of all toys imaginable. Takes about an hr to get through it all

I've read some comments about the state of the rooms not being exhibited nicely and items with no information, they must have lived some regimented life with all their toys neatly put away with a name tag on. I never once read any packaging as a child, I just played with the toy - and that's how I felt in the museum, I forgot it was a museum and I was almost back in my toy room as a child. Brilliant.

I visited here, with my family, 26 February 2016 and was happily reminded of my visit when I removed the business card from my wallet.

What a fantastic place, a superb collection of vintage toys with some modern items to boot. It is brilliantly laid out allowing you to fall back in to your childhood and reminisce about the toys you played with and the ones you never had.
