  The surrounding grounds are also very beautiful and worth a quick walk and maybe even a quiet sit down. The bar is also very nice however the lighting during the evening we went was far too bright and it was actually nicer after they closed and dimmed the lights.

  Good, but not great, especially for the price you pay. When you pay the prices they charge here, you hope to get a breakfast included, or a large room, or ... anything really - but instead, you don't get any of that, just a small room without anything all that modern or classy about it, parking that's miles away, breakfast that's one of the most expensive I've ever purchased, and an overall sense that you've only got about 25% of what you paid for. That said, the building is nice, has a little shop and a few facilities like a spa, the the breakfast was quite nice. Seriously though, we would have been better staying elsewhere, and using the saved money to pay for tourist attractions instead.

  Arrived before check in and the staff couldn't be more helpfull. Staff looked after our luggage while we explored the grounds until our room was ready. We came here as part of our honeymoon and they upgraded our room and after getting back from the pool in the afternoon we had complimentary fruit and champagne on ice waiting for us.

  Very good value for money. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms however it was still quite nice and the view of the Blue Mountains from the room was beautiful. The room could do with better air conditioning, given that even with the coldest setting, it still felt quite warn and the lack of functioning ventilation fans in the bathroom meant that the bathroom very quickly became a sauna if the door were shut.

  Location is a bit far from the town center but with a great view on dining and bar area. I took a standard room which located on different wing to gym and pool area as well as the parking area. This make the activity a bit tedious. Other than that it was a lovely experience, room is generous size, all staff is very hospitable. We are greeted by every staff. They are also helpful. Breakfast come with enough variety. If you are getting breakfast there, make sure you get the omelet.

  Besides, the hotel is really big spacious with lots of activity rooms for both adults and kids! A memorable stay! I will definitely stay in Fairmont again!

  I had left my favorite shirt in Fairmont during my stay there. I had then left Sydney on my way back home to Singapore.

  The concierge, restaurant, bar, cleaners and reception staff were absolutely lovely. However the other support tended to be a little bit rude and uninviting, possibly because they're not trained to deal with customers, even a smile is sometimes enough.

  The breakfast buffet is fantastic and they even offer free takeaway coffee from the coffee machines during breakfast.
